A direct connection between your Fuji Frontier scanner and your Mac.

FrontierBridge brings scanner connection, image delivery and photo management together in one Mac app. Milestone 1 establishes the foundation: connect a scanner, receive images as they are scanned, and keep your work organised.

Scan directly to your Mac

Images appear in FrontierBridge as they arrive—you can begin reviewing received frames while the scanner continues working through the roll.

Choose where your scans are saved, browse them by roll, inspect individual images and view the scan information available from your scanner.

Simple at home. Flexible in the lab.

Home mode keeps everyday scanning straightforward. Set up your scanner once, choose an image folder and start the bridge when you’re ready to scan.

Lab mode adds shared scanner management, coordinator and client roles, scanner assignments and customer-order tools for more complex workflows.

Where things stand

Successful real-scanner sessions on our SP-2000 setup have demonstrated image delivery, order completion and continued scanning across multiple rolls.

Lab roles and multiple-scanner routing have also been exercised with scanner virtual machines. Broader real-hardware testing is still needed, especially for simultaneous transfers, different network arrangements and recovery after interruptions.

Compatibility varies by scanner model and installed software. Milestone 1 is a development milestone—not a claim that every Fuji Frontier configuration has been verified.

What comes next

The focus is on testing more installations, refining the interface and strengthening reliability while preserving the working scanning foundation.
